Our 10th summer series of events is then running between the 13th of June and the end of July in various places across Geneva. More info below.
NGUZUNGUZU are among the originators of a new mix of club music with their unique blend of R&B, rap, electronic music, house, kuduro, and grime that weave energetic polyrhythms, eerie melodies and dramatic soundscapes. Not only amazing djs but great producers too, they also made tracks for Le1f and underground R&B upcoming star KELELA as well as being part of FUTURE BROWN with FATIMA AL QADIRI and J-CUSH, with whom they released an album on WARP lately. Lauded and supported by FACT Magazine, Rinse FM, XLR8R, Dazed, THUMP, BBC Radio 1, The Fader and the likes, they have been at the forefront of things since they appeared on the international scene more than 6 years ago.
To date, Nguzunguzu has released six EPs to critical acclaim, their most recent being the ghostly “Skycell” on LA-Based Kingdom’s Fade to Mind imprint. In addition to their productions, the two are well known for their mixes that have strongly contributed to shape their music scene, a collaboration with M.I.A, and their “Perfect Lullaby” mix series released by DIS Magazine, a lush exploration of zouk beats and pop vocals, which has garnered a huge amount of plays on SoundCloud.
Warming up, we are also very glad to have WTF, who's interest and search for good music of many sorts reflects is passion and dedication to the craft of being a real good dj, working on top at Bongo Joe record shop at Place des Augustins, Geneva.
